Multiplication Facts

It's that time! We need to work on our multiplication facts at home, at school, in the car, in the shower... you name it! We're going full force crazy for multiplication. Please practice with flash cards, playing cards, numbers you see at the grocery store.

We have made it a goal in our class to master 0 times table to 10 times table. If the whole class masters these facts, we will be throwing an ice cream party! So parents, help them out!

Multiplication facts will be necessary for 2-3 digit multiplication by 1 digit. In the curriculum, we are expected to memorize products up to 25. So game on, bring on the multiplication!

Just a friendly reminder to return your goal setting sheet for Term 1 in A.S.A.P. so that we can review it again at Term 2 report card. If you need another one, please feel free to email me!

Whole Numbers Math Test

There will be a Math test on the following on Tuesday December 16:

• 3-Digit Addition
• 4-Digit Addition
• 3-Digit Subtraction
• 4-Digit Subtraction
• Rounding
• Estimation
• Writing numbers in standard form, expanded form and word form
• Addition/Subtraction Problem Solving 

Review sheets have gone home and will continue to go home. Please make sure all assignments are completed on time so that the answers may be checked during class time.
