Prepare to enlighten and amaze
your classmates! You are going to choose an animal that you would like to study
and write a research report about. You will present all of the interesting
information that you write to your classmates. Write the animal you choose on
the line below:

Parents,
We will be working on
animal research reports at school. I have attached a mini-version of what your
child will be working on at school. You can help by looking up information with
your child on websites and reading books about their animal with them. They
should read what they can but some resources may not be on their reading level.
Students will do the writing portion at school and will also have the option of
working on a poster or a PowerPoint. Also, if you have access to a printer (or
magazines) for pictures that your child could bring to school that would be
fabulous. This should be a fun, beginning, research project! I can’t wait to
see how the students do!
